Nick Burkett joined the firm in 2009. Nick brings a wide range of experience to the firm across several practice areas. Nick's experience includes litigation support services, tax preparation and tax planning, business valuations, fraud investigation and other business consulting projects. Nick earned his Bachelors of Business Administration in Accounting as well as his Masters of Science in Finance from Texas A&M University.
Nick's litigation support experience includes disputes involving several types of damages, across numerous industries. A large part of Nick's experience in litigation support involves intellectual property damage disputes. This experience includes damage analysis related to patent infringement, trade secret misappropriation and copyright infringement and spans many industries. Nick has also provided litigation support services related to Divorce/Family Law, Antitrust, Financial Institution, Fraud and Insurance disputes and litigation.
Nick also holds the AICPA's Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) designation and is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE). He has performed numerous Business Valuations across multiple industries in the context of Divorce Litigation, Estate Planning and Deal Structuring.
Nick provides Tax Preparation and Planning services to our clients. He also provides services related to various Business Consulting projects undertaken by the firm.
