Robert is the managing partner and founder of Bailes & Co., P.C. He opened the firm in 1991.  Robert's experience includes litigation support services, tax preparation and tax planning, business valuation, fraud investigations and other business consulting projects. Robert earned a Bachelors of Business Administration - Accounting and Master of Professional Accountancy from Baylor University.  He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and has earned the Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) and Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) designations which are issued by the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA).

Robert's litigation support experience is wide ranging and covers a number of different disciplines.  These include marital dissolution, damage analysis, tracing, financial fraud, loss determination, accounting malpractice, tax and financial fraud.  In conjunction with many of these services, Robert has provided Expert Witness Reports and Testimony in a number of State and Federal Courts across Texas and Louisiana.

Robert has performed a number of business valuations in the context of litigation, tax and estate planning that cover many different industries and valuation issues.

Robert also provides Business Consulting services.  These services are wide ranging and add value for a number of different types of clients.  These services include new business formation, succession planning, buy/sell agreement review and planning, healthcare consulting and group planning, compensation structure review and implementation, contract review, corporate finance and bank financing analysis, cash flow management and part-time CFO services.  Robert has also served as a Court-Appointed Receiver, Examiner and Liquidating Trustee.

Robert is a member of the AICPA and TXCPA.
