Audra joined the firm in 2011. After 15 years of working in the DFW Metroplex, she and her family have returned to her hometown of Tyler to enjoy the close community and slower pace of life.

Audra received her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Accounting from the University of North Texas in 2000 and is a Certified Public Accountant. Before returning to Tyler, she was a practicing CPA in Downtown Dallas for over 10 years, gaining experience in auditing and tax preparation/planning, working with a wide variety and size of client, with industry experience in construction, real estate, law practices, oil & gas accounting and non-profit organizations.

She brings an array of tax and non-tax experience to Bailes & Co., P.C. and its clients. An expert in QuickBooks, Audra provides consulting on all aspects of bookkeeping and tax planning for companies and individuals. She also has experience in representing her clients before the IRS and the State Comptroller of Texas, both in audit and non-audit situations.

Audra is a member of the American Society of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TXCPA), and the East Texas Chapter of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (ETCPA).

Currently serving as the Vice President of Finance for the Women’s Symphony League of Tyler, Audra is experienced in serving on the boards of Tyler ISD PTAs and Booster Clubs. Since returning to Tyler, she has worked with these various non-profit boards to establish and maintain robust financial budgets and records to increase the organizations’ benefit to the local community. She has been an active volunteer and chaperone at a variety of schools in Tyler ISD.

Audra and her husband Chad have two children, Caelyn and Alexander, and a variety of dogs, cats and sometimes chickens at their home in Noonday.
