Chad joined the firm in 2007. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting, graduating Magna Cum Laude, as well as his Master of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Texas at Tyler. Chad is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and earned the Certified Information Technology Professional (CITP) credential, which is issued by the AICPA exclusively to CPAs with extensive information technology knowledge and experience.

Chad's practice focuses primarily on tax services. He represents clients before the Internal Revenue Service, the State of Texas, and other taxing authorities. He has extensive experience in resolving difficult IRS issues. Chad also assists in a wide range of litigation and fraud engagements.

Chad is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA), East Texas Chapter of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (ETCPA), and Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE).

Chad is a lifelong resident of Tyler. He was previously a licensed foster home and an active member of the foster home community in East Texas. He was a member of Green Acres Baptist Church for over twenty years, volunteering in the GABC Children's Ministry, Student Ministry, and Worship Ministry. He now attends South Spring Baptist Church.

Chad is the current treasurer for Heart of Tyler, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving and promoting Downtown Tyler. He served for four years on the City of Tyler's Keep Tyler Beautiful board, including one year as Chair. He is currently completing his fourth year on the City of Tyler's Traffic Safety Board.
